The interiors of preschool institutions. Interior design of functional kindergarten premises

Competent decoration of the interior of a preschool institution allows you to organize a special microcosm, where children will rush every day with great pleasure. When developing a design project for a kindergarten, the arrangement of key functional areas is taken into account: changing rooms, a play and study area, a dining room, a bedroom, a bathroom.

Basic requirements for interior decoration:

 • the kindergarten should not resemble a government institution. A cozy atmosphere in the premises can be achieved by diversifying the interior with the help of light bright curtains, sofa cushions, large soft toys.
 • functional areas must be equipped only with durable children's furniture of the correct size and height corresponding to the height of the children in the group. It should be positioned for optimal free space for play and exercise.
 • in the playrooms, it should be assumed that there are islands with toys, with all kinds of craft materials, albums, pencils and mobile light furniture.
 • to create a fun and comfortable environment in the interior of the kindergarten, there must be a place for a variety of pictures depicting animals and cartoon characters.

If in Soviet times, kindergartens practically did not differ in their design, today you need to try very hard with the design so that parents choose this preschool institution. At the same time, the choice of the interior itself should be based on the psychology and interests of the kids, and not the employees. ...

The idea of decorating all the premises of the kindergarten can be associated with its name. For example, in the kindergarten "Fairy Tale", everything should be like in a fairy tale, "World of Miracles" can demonstrate miracles at every step, and the atmosphere of the premises in the kindergarten "Cosmos" must be saturated with a space theme. Let's dwell on the design of the kindergarten premises with the name "Cosmos".

Dressing room interior

The morning of any toddler attending kindergarten usually begins with the changing room. This area is considered one of the most important in the preschool. After all, the child's desire to come here again and again will depend on how attractive the dressing room is. This is especially true for children who have just started attending kindergarten and for the first time were left without their beloved mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers. In the Kosmos kindergarten, the design of the dressing room should be in a “space” style. For example, the ceiling can be decorated in the form of a starry sky by hanging stars on threads. Make lockers for clothes like capsules for space suits, and mark them with pictures to make it easier for the baby to remember his place ("compartment in the ship"). And instead of the front door, install a metal sliding panel in the group. Such a "space" situation will certainly interest the "future cosmonaut". Usually there are several groups in kindergartens, at the entrance to which you can organize small children's exhibitions. You can visually expand such a corner with the help of mirrors. The building of a kindergarten with several floors involves stairs, for the correct design of which you need to pay enough attention. For example, you can interest the kids by hanging pictures along the stairs about the history of the kindergarten or with fairy-tale characters, and the kids will calmly walk up the stairs.

Features of the interior of the play area

In modern kindergartens, a combined version of the play and study room with a clear division of zones is usually used. The "cosmic" spirit should be present in the decoration of walls and ceilings, in furnishings, as well as in toys and educational elements. In such an environment, children play more interestingly and perceive information easier. The ceiling can be made light or in the form of a gentle blue sky. To follow the chosen theme, it is better to install the racks in an oval configuration. For active play and learning, lighting plays an important role in this area. There should be plenty of natural light in the playroom. The optimum amount is achieved with large windows on both sides of the room. We must not forget about the requirements for the "seats" - chairs and tables. They must meet the age and height standards for this child group. It is more logical to place the learning area on the opposite side of the play area so that the kids are not distracted from classes during the course of learning. The play area can also be equipped with sports elements, so as not to make a separate sports area. This solution allows babies to play while doing physical activity.

Nuances in the interior design of the food area

The interior of the dining room must certainly improve the appetite of children. It is known that bright enough colors in the design, but by no means cutting eyes, stimulate the secretion of digestive juices. For example, a dark blue ceiling with golden stars and orange comets, as well as a bright red floor - all this will only help to whet the appetite of babies. And if you also make a window into the food block in the form of a porthole, and mount multi-colored lamps around the perimeter of the suspended ceiling, which would change colors when serving the first, second course and drinks, then eating for kids will turn into an exciting game.

Sleep area interior

The kindergarten bedroom is one of the most important areas. It is known that daytime sleep for some babies turns into a real torture. Therefore, in the interior design of the sleeping area, only calm tones should be present - for example, muted blue on the walls, a slightly darker ceiling. Not a bad version of the "starry sky" ceiling, but only without lamps. It is better to place the backlight around the perimeter of the ceiling (along the curb), which will make the lighting diffuse and dim. To ensure a healthy sound sleep for children, the windows are shaded with blackout thick curtains. For curtains, soothing colors like purple or indigo are suitable. However, the curtains should not be too thick. First, they accumulate dust, which is harmful for babies. Heavy curtains are simply unrealistic to wash every week. Secondly, most babies are not friendly with the dark, and they will be afraid when falling asleep. On the walls of the bedroom, you can hang calm pictures or drawings, when examining which, a dream will certainly come to the baby. On a single-colored wall, you can depict the whole plot of a famous cartoon, in which your favorite characters are getting ready for bed or are already falling asleep in soft beds. Experts have proven that children, when looking at such images, plunge into the world of fairy-tale dreams and fantasies much faster.

Hygiene room interior

The bathroom is a problematic area for both the youngest child and the staff of the preschool. It is hard for the baby to get used to hygiene procedures at home, not to mention the kindergarten. In this connection, the design of the hygiene zone should be given extremely important attention. The design of the bathroom should be interesting for kids, and all its elements should be as convenient as possible for both children and staff. All accessories, such as washbasins, pots, urinals, toilets, must be used according to the age group. In this case, special sanitary standards must be observed. Facing a hygiene room with tiles with a "space" theme is the best option in terms of cleanliness. In addition, the pictures on the tiles will be of interest to kids. If in the hygiene room for the use of washbasins, it is assumed that there are special supports under the feet, then they must be necessarily wooden and trimmed with leather or fabric of the appropriate color. It is worth noting that it is desirable to use dark colors for all bathroom accessories, for example, blue or dark blue. The space for the towel rails should be at a height appropriate for the height of the children in the age group. It is better to attach plastic containers for used toilet paper to the floor. It will be good if these containers also continue the "space" theme of the kindergarten.

Veranda decoration

Many kindergartens are equipped with remote verandas that replace playgrounds when it is impossible to go outside, for example, in rainy weather. When organizing this zone, it should be borne in mind that the kids will walk on the veranda in outerwear and shoes. Therefore, materials for decoration must be used only durable, atraumatic and environmentally friendly. The design of the building can be made in the same "space" style for the garden. The zone can actually be turned into either a "landing site" or "open space". The “earthy” version is suitable for a garden with many trees growing around it. And if the building is surrounded by high-rise buildings - an option with "open space" is acceptable. The veranda must be protected by glass from the wind, and also have a sliding entrance door. Since there is not enough natural light in bad weather, the ceiling must be equipped with several lanterns resembling planets. Circular benches are installed on the floor along the perimeter of the remote veranda. An obligatory attribute of such a zone is soft rubber toys, for example, pools with balls or just balls with handles.

All of the above zones should be in every kindergarten. And the more interesting the design of each of them, the more it will become attractive to kids. In addition, each component of the design should be not only interesting, but also environmentally friendly, hypoallergenic, easy to sanitize, and also so that the baby could neither hit nor get scratched. If all these factors are taken into account when decorating the interior, the preschool institution will become ideal for the kids, and the parents will certainly be satisfied.

Children's center "Sovushka-clever little head". So, the creation of a children's development center "Sovushka-clever little head" for children from 1 year to 6 years. The first meeting with customers at the facility did not inspire in us that there should be a children's center with a designer interior. Let me explain why: firstly, the premises left much to be desired ... old housing stock, and accordingly old rotten wooden floors with linoleum, which all went in waves, curved walls, and secondly, there is too little space (55 sq.m. for everything about everything) , a gas stove in the middle of the room (which could not be demolished), dampness in the room, well, thirdly, this is the customer's motto: “do it with a little blood, so to speak” and with the following conditions: do not touch the bathroom at all (it would be costly to re-lay it with ceramic tiles), at a minimum investment in decoration, well, and NOT the worst thing about this in all this is to use the furniture from IKEA to the maximum. The main task for us was to create a whole separate world in a tiny room. In the center, the child had to be interested, and everything around had to stimulate the child's mind to the desire to be focused and active. When developing the project, it was worth paying special attention not only to the color scheme and style, but also to the environmental safety of the materials used. The children's center requires a special approach in design and repair. As a rule, such establishments consist of several rooms and offices. In our case, initially there were only 2 rooms that we needed to turn into 3: a hall, a common room and a room for individual lessons. And, as the selection of personnel is important, the correct design of the premises was needed. After all, for children you need to choose the best that humanity has! The customers dictated the layout to us and asked to do only the interior design. But after thinking and weighing all the pros and cons, we still risked to propose small changes, namely: to slightly shift the partition that separates the bathroom from the hallway, because the bathroom was initially unnecessarily large, and there was a lack of space in the hallway. After talking with the customers and arguing their decision to change the layout, they finally agreed, but there was one BUT…. With this seemingly small detail, the bathroom was affected, and, accordingly, the question arose that it would still have to be repaired too. The customers agreed to make repairs there, but with one condition - the minimum amount of material costs! As a result, the partition in the hall was dismantled and new partitions were installed in the bathroom and in the common room (the partition shared the common room with the hall). In general, there are several stylistic and thematic directions for the interior design of the children's center. The most popular of all, the natural motive, suited us thematically. When designing the premises, it was important to take into account that every detail of the interior should carry not only aesthetic, but also informative value. It was also necessary to take into account certain standards in the repair technology, corresponding to the safety of the child. No injury hazardous things, only reliable and environmentally friendly materials. In general, every detail of the interior design of the children's center had to carry two functions: cognitive and aesthetic. Wood is one of the noblest and most commonly used and environmentally friendly materials. In the design of our premises, we used environmentally friendly OSB boards and lining. We covered the walls with OSB boards in the new hallway, which gave a warm and cozy atmosphere right at the entrance to the children's center. In addition, we killed 2 more birds with one stone: OSB plates are a very economical building material and, most importantly, right on them it will be easy to later create a corner for children's creative work, mini-galleries for parents so that they can admire the products their children, waiting for them after class. In the hallway, on one of the walls, we placed a stadiometer with the symbol of the children's center-owls (kids love to compete in height), to the left of the entrance we placed a huge roomy wardrobe for outerwear with huge mirrors (due to which we visually expanded the space), and to the right of the entrance there is a couch so that you can sit down and change your shoes in dirty weather. The solution to the design of the new bathroom with the condition of super-economy class was clapboard. One of the main advantages of the lining is its ability to give or absorb, if necessary, moisture in the room, which is great for our bathroom, and of course it cost us very cheaply. We sheathed only part of the room with it, the rest was mixed with paint. In the bathroom, as expected, there are: a toilet, a sink with a cabinet, a boiler (in case the hot water is turned off) and of course a mirror, not a simple mirror ... in the form of honeycombs, which remarkably supported our natural theme of the club. From the hallway, we enter the hall area using a folding door. Why is the door folding, you ask? Because it saves space remarkably, which is very important in our case, since we already have so little space. We could not refuse the door, since it was necessary to keep warm in the hall during the cold season. So, the hall is the face of our club. It is here that clients conduct their first negotiations and it is here that they expect their children during the period of the classes. The hall should be very cozy, comfortable and comfortable. In the lobby we have located a comfortable couch with an adjoining coffee table on wheels, with a TV opposite. In the lobby there is an administrator who should also be comfortable doing his job, for the administrator there is a reception desk. It seems to us that the kids' club should have a special table for the administrator, so we made it. We lowered half of the rack according to the height of the kids, so that they, like their parents, could communicate comfortably and “like an adult” with the administrator. It is the administrator who monitors the safety of children in the lobby, therefore the high part of the counter is lowered so that there is good visibility. At the reception, we placed the logo of the children's center with diode illumination (we also developed it ourselves). We hung a cage with a live bird above the reception area, which our customer really wanted to see there). According to the norms of the SES, a drinking regime should be organized in the children's club. For this we needed a cooler, which we also provided in the hall. There is also a drawing table, inside of which pencils and a lot of magical and unusual things are stored for the free creativity of kids. A magnetic marker board for creativity is fixed on the wall behind the table. In the hallway, we have located exactly one half of the stove, which we veneered with OSB plates. Now on the stove it will be possible with the help of buttons to easily hang various announcements and necessary information for the club. Also on the improved oven there is a mini-library with books "at home". So, let's move on to the general and main classroom. The customer's requirement is a musical corner, we placed it in the left corner of our room, there we just needed a rug, and in our case it was of course stylized as grass on which soft pear chairs for kids and a place with a tool for the teacher were stretched. Another wish of the customer was the use of the owlet Inga Paltser in the interior; we happily entered it into our interior and placed it on the wall in the area of the music corner. Also next to the lawn was a soft, fun chair with a bright inflatable pillow. To the left of it is the second part of our decorated stove and next to it is another wish of the customer - the world-famous business board. Open lockers with inviting play material are very provocative things to practice, but we have them). As for the tables and chairs, they are unusual with us, like our entire interior. Modular tables-Snake, with them you can create all kinds of configurations, which is very convenient. Opposite the tables is a chalk board, above it is a plasma TV for broadcasting educational material. Well, the "highlight" of our forest interior is wood. Our tree is not simple, it spreads almost over the entire area of our 5-meter wall. It takes its origin from the teacher's table, then grows onto the opposite wall, turning first into a curbstone for teaching material, and then into shelves for books and all sorts of trinkets that children love to look at. There is still a room for individual lessons. Everything in it was quite laconic: a table, two armchairs, shelves for educational literature and a built-in wardrobe in the existing niche. The table, again, is not simple, it has three steps. The Papasan rattan armchair for a toddler student also attracts with its original design, besides, it is very comfortable, comfortable and with a huge bright soft pillow. Color and light. The main color of the interiors of our children's center is green, in its various shades. He is like a thicket, a connecting link between all zones of the center. In the office for individual lessons, we used themed wallpapers with owls on the branches. On the ceiling there is a sky-colored stretch ceiling to create even more realism of our forest. As for the floor: in the lobby and classrooms we used laminate of a noble reddish-brown natural color, in the hallway we used small tiles with a bright tasty orange hue, in the bathroom we used ceramic tiles with a pattern imitating grass. In the hall, one of the walls was decorated in a very interesting way - they used real wood cuts, which, as we assume, will not leave any of the visitors indifferent! Lighting. The classroom should have natural light, so, oddly enough, we managed to make the layout so that there was a window in each of the rooms. Children need a lot of light - don't forget this! There is more than enough artificial lighting in our establishment. In the common room, we even combined spotlights with chandeliers. Let the kids every day want to return to our children's center “Sovushka-clever little head”, and work with kids will become pleasant and addictive with the help of a properly designed room!

Children are the flowers of our life, we have no one dearer than them, we are so happy when they appear with us. And since then we begin to give them all the best, to surround them with warmth, care and love. That is why it is difficult for parents to choose the kindergarten that would suit them completely. Such an institution, which preschool children go to and spend a lot of time there, must meet certain existing standards, which say that the child here should feel comfortable, cozy, convenient, so that it is pleasant and interesting to spend time here, and most importantly, it should be safe for the kids here. In addition to all this, every parent would like to see good, educated, lovely educators who could entrust their baby with a calm soul.

The interior of the kindergarten, its design must be treated responsibly, everything must be thought out carefully. Since each room, which is intended for the general time of spending the children, must be decorated in a special way. With its appearance, the interior should influence, contribute to the artistic, aesthetic and cognitive development of preschool children. Now you understand how much the interior means, what functions are entrusted to it, and why it is necessary to think over and implement it competently, carefully, correctly, so that everyone, both adults and little ones, is comfortable, cozy, and convenient in this room. To do this, you will need to use sustained modern interior design styles or neoclassical ones, or use simple forms. And whatever style of interior design you choose for interior decoration, use a large number of indoor plants. They will contribute to the production of fresh air in the room, in addition, it is very beautiful, gives the interior liveliness, lightness, beauty. And in order for the effect to be really like that, do not forget to organically combine the interior of the kindergarten with plants.

Kindergarten interior, and the basics of room design for children

The challenge is to create some kind of microcosm that will interest all children. To achieve such a result, to cope with the task perfectly well, you will need to divide the room into several functional zones. This should be a work area, a sleeping area, a bedroom, as well as a playroom.

The interior design of a kindergarten, in no case should remind you of a lobby in a hotel or an office. It should be the opposite of these rooms. In order for the kindergarten premises to look beautiful, comfortable and cozy, use light curtains made of translucent material for decorating windows, small sofa cushions, and many, many soft toys.

All these items will help your little child to quickly adapt in kindergarten, and will also help relieve the child's stress.

Now let's talk about those moments that can be considered the most important in the development of interior design. And so, it is important to take into account when developing, determine the size, height of the objects that will be present. This is very important, as it affects, affects the well-being of the child. For example, if you need to determine the optimal height of the table for your child, you need to seat him behind it. After that, the child who is sitting at the table should bend his arms so that the arms at the elbows are at right angles. If the table top is at the level of the child's bent arms, this is the correct table height.

As for the arrangement of pieces of furniture. Place furniture in the room so that there is as much free space as possible, so that there is a place where children can play outdoor games, do exercises, and so on.

The interior of the kindergarten must be equipped with play islands that will accommodate a large number of completely different toys, crafts, mobile furniture, soft floors, sketchbooks, paints, pencils, plasticine and steel things that preschool children like so much ...

Preschool kindergarten furniture is different from ordinary furniture. And this is indisputable. Firstly, there are differences in design and appearance, secondly, in quality, and, thirdly, functionality. These are the main factors that you need to pay attention to when choosing children's furniture.

The restrained and laconic interior of the kindergarten and public premises largely determines the appearance and design of children's furniture. The bases for it are wooden or metal frames. Furniture must be durable and sustainable. Therefore, for example, when buying children's tables, what you need to pay special attention to is the quality and composition of the chipboard used in the manufacture of countertops and other furniture parts. Ideal if the furniture is completely wooden. This is a guarantee of environmental friendliness and durability of furniture. For example, take a laminated board, which is still used in furniture in a building. So, it often breaks down without serving two or three years. But this is not the most important thing either. The main thing is that this material contains resins, which evaporate, reacting with the external environment L. Accordingly, children breathe emitted vapors, which are very harmful. Take, for example, seats that are made of plywood, although this is prohibited. Children's lockers also need to be durable and environmentally friendly. Without having special knowledge in furniture business, the quality of children's furniture can be judged by the guarantee given by the manufacturer. She must be at least two to three years old. If the used fittings are not of high quality, then the furniture will loosen within one year.

For, you can use bright, saturated colors. The main thing is that each color harmonizes, combines, complements each other. The colors that you will use in the interior should not create contrast, they should flow smoothly into each other. In general, colors are very important, they play important roles in the interiors of premises, regardless of their functional purpose. They are able not only to decorate your surfaces, but with their correct use, you can visually increase the space in the room. If you do something wrong, then the space in the room visually, on the contrary, may become smaller. And also colors and their shades have a direct impact on a person. That is why each of them has its own characteristics, which are created by professional psychologists. Therefore, one should not rush to choose a color for the design of a kindergarten. Therefore, we emphasize again so that you do not play on contrasts, do not make sharp transitions in color, as this will distract the child's attention.

The interior of the kindergarten may at first glance seem not luxurious, not rich, but this is not important, not the main thing. It is important for parents that an atmosphere of warmth, comfort and love for children reigns here.

Every interior, whatever it may be, must be decorated somehow, it is necessary that decorative objects, elements and so on are present here. The walls in the kindergarten, like no one else, need decoration. If they are empty, the interior will look imperfect, unfinished. But when you hang various pictures on them, draw images of characters from the cartoons loved by all children, decorate with shelves on which the kindergarten pupils' crafts will be located, the room will look completely different, it will acquire liveliness, brightness, good, positive mood , fun, smiles.

As you know, there are usually several groups in kindergartens. So, at the entrance to the groups, I would like to see exhibition corners where you could show off, stand handicrafts, pictures of your children. If you have been allocated a little space for such a corner, then you can make it visually more spacious due to mirrors. When you hang a mirror here, the room will immediately sparkle with new colors. Place the exhibition corner at a height that is accessible to children so that they can easily take their crafts from there and put them in their places. In addition to convenience, this will also teach young children to be neat and careful.

If your kindergarten building has more than one floor, but for example two, then it definitely has a staircase. So, in order to properly design a staircase, you need to pay enough attention to it. In order for the children to walk the stairs calmly, they need to be interested. How exactly do you do this? For example, you can hang picture frames along the stairs to tell your children about the history of their kindergarten. You can be smart and come up with something different, more interesting and exciting.
